And here they are – Downtown USA for 2003
Put in another shelf – Marlene has created six new buildings that you’ll want to add to your collection of Downtown USA miniature buildings.
Old Virginny Store (DT174) celebrates all things country – from peanuts and ham to crafts, cardinals and quilts. Artistry in glass is on display at Tiffany’s Stained Glass (DT175). You’ll find pottery and crafts as well as delicious bakery treats at Blackberry Pie & Country Living (DT176).
Personalize our new Little League Field (DT177) with your team’s name and the winning score of the championship game, and you’ll create a keepsake for the whole team. We’ve had many requests over the years to add a synagogue to the collection, and Marlene finally has delivered. Synagogue (DT178) features beautiful stained glass windows and plenty of room for personalization.
Medical Center (DT179) was designed as a country medical center, but with some creative personalizing, it could be just about anything. For example, we think it also would make a great school.
In a fit of patriotism, (and while wearing a serious set of magnifying glasses) our Joyce Rother recreated the US Capitol (CU556). Glad she wasn’t the one who had to paint its 152 windows, Marlene decided to add this attractive piece to the collection. We introduced it at the Fort Washington Show in January, where it was warmly received. It goes great with the Pentagon (CU118) and New York Skyline (CU492) pieces that we introduced in 2000.
